NMB Bank has presented 12 winners with various prizes worth more than 28 million in the 12th month lottery.
NMB through its 'MastaBata Siyo Kik unusual' campaign has presented the winners with prizes including smart phones, smartphones, and refrigerators where each winner received prizes worth 2.4 million shillings each.
Speaking at the announcement of the winners, the Bank's Mount City branch manager, Irene Masaki said the purpose of the campaign was to encourage customers to use Mastercard and Mastacard QR cards to make purchases of goods or services online.
Among the customers who won the prizes were Happy Luka Pallangyo, Masunga Jasila, Francis Julian and Rose Marealle. The process of finding the winners was overseen by an Officer from the Tanzania Gaming Board - Pendo Mfuru .
The promotion was launched in November, this year and will end in February next year. The promotion encourages the implementation of NMB Mastacard and Mastacard QR in purchasing without cash. Every week and at the end of the month the drawers are held and customers continue to win various prizes. Customers should make their transactions via the NMB Mastercard or QR card as often as possible to maximize their chances of winning.
Throughout the campaign period, NMB will present prizes to 40 winners who will win Shs. 100,000 weekly and 12 winners will be awarded a Samsung galaxy Note20 smart phone worth Shs. 2.4 million every month.
